We anually invest about 6% of our sales in our R&D activities. The result is a diversified and modern product portfolio: approximately 40% of our sales are generated with new products that are less than five years in the market.
In order to early recignize technological trends and be able to play an active part where appropriate, our engineers and developers accompany international research projects. New technologies like wireless applications or LED for energy-saving light fittings could thus be developed to production standard.

- ISO 9000 certified in 1993 and ISO 9001 in 2004
- quality management process coveres the whole supply chain
- quality managment system is approved by Dekra/EXAM on basis of EN 13980
- calibration laboratory monitors over 2,000 items of electrical and mechanical test equipment
- production process is covered by quality assurance
- since 2005 R. STAHL includes the subsidiaries in the approval process ISO 9001:2008 within the matrix certification.
